About

Hey there! I’m Lindsey – an elementary school social worker by day and an educational content creator by night. I created SEL Sketches to give educators, parents, school counselors, and kids easy, engaging Social and Emotional Learning content that feels simple to use and meaningful for students.

SEL Sketches started with a simple goal: make big emotional and social concepts easier for kids to understand. Through short videos, visual explanations, classroom activities, and printable resources, SEL Sketches helps students learn about feelings, coping skills, self-regulation, anxiety, bullying, conflict, the brain, and more.

The videos are designed to be kid-friendly, clear, and practical, making them easy to use in classroom lessons, small groups, counseling sessions, or at home. Many SEL Sketches resources are also available on Teachers Pay Teachers, including activities and companion materials that help students apply what they learn in the videos.

Whether you are teaching a whole-class SEL lesson, helping a student understand a big feeling, or looking for a quick visual tool to start an important conversation, SEL Sketches is here to help make Social and Emotional Learning approachable, memorable, and fun.
